I tossed this match back and forth in my head a lot, and I couldn't get over how absolutely terrible and disappointing CC was. I still can't see anyone supporting it over one of the biggest and most influential games ever. But that soundtrack. I'm not even kidding. Chrono Cross is the only game I ever see that gets bashed like crazy but still gets recognized for its soundtrack. Nice
boosts for the GTA series there after a brutal board vote. Still
embarrassing but they should end up looking a little bit more
respectable, which is good because otherwise I'd have no idea what

doubt it. I tend to go for the simplest answer when I can and gta being

vote totals is a big deal I think. I want to see Earthbound in a couple

it's awesome and amazing that Super Metroid beat even the highest
Oracle pick, I really think that's more about CoD4 tanking than anything

That's
because after a certain point sales don't matter. If something sold 3
million vs. 25 million, they might as well be on the same level here.
Both sold enough to have a wide reach. The idea was that Shovel Knight
sold enough to hit that wide range of people, on top of being a game
that is probably has some appeal to an audience that loves retro 90s
games. I mean, SK is an indie game, so there's some natural assumption
that those are pretty niche and don't reach that many people. I wasn't
being too serious anyway, but this was my thought process on choosing
