there's definitely significant rallying at work here just comparing the
votes to other day matches will tell you that. The question is whether
it's disproportionately favoring Vivi or not to any significant degree.

Division 8: Round 2 - Match 104 – (2) Squall Leonhart vs. (5) Amaterasu vs. (8) Missingno Moltar’s Analysis Squall Round 1 – 65.85% vs. Rayman and Video Squall beats down some weaksauce Amaterasu Round 1 – 66.79% vs. Vyse and Adol As does Ammy Missingno Round 1 – 40.58% vs. Tidus and Banjo Finally, a performance that isn't good! So apparently this contest is no longer about what GameFAQs thinks or prefers, but about who can tell the most people from other websites to blindly vote for their character. woo Anyway this probably mirrors the Tidus match which Missingno starting out huge, Squall chipping away all night, and then Missingno putting it away when the kiddies wake up and beg reddit for votes. "B-b-b-b-but Squall is stronger than Tidus!" I'm watching Vivi beat freaking Mario right now, there's no room for logic here. Moltar’s Prediction: Squall: 38% - Amaterasu: 24% - Missingno: 40% Lopen’s Analysis VIVI VIVI VIVI VIVI VIVI GO VIVI CRUSH MARIO GO Lopen's pr-- Okay fine I'll actually analyze this a bit. I think Squall has to be considered the favorite. Tidus put MissingNo at risk, Squall is stronger than Tidus. It's a night match, which probably helps Squall tool On the other hand, PokeFAQs. Missingno nearly choking against Tidus hasn’t really changed that, especially as Pokemon continues to go into full beast mode. There’s a chance it won’t be at the same strength level as last round. I seriously considered picking Ammy for second here because of DogFAQs for a while, but it’s hard to see Missingno flopping that badly at this point. Oh well. Gotta keep that Squall > Mario dream next round alive (even if it’s only Squall getting second instead of first over Mario)…! Transience’s Analysis At this point, is there any way to reasonably gauge contest matches? Many of my brethren see this as a negative but I'm actually on board. We complain about how predictable these things are and then complain when an outside population forces us to change our expectations. When you step back and think about it, it's kind of crazy that Mario and Link losing is so earth-shattering. This shakeup is how it should have always been. This is my long winded way of saying that I'm picking Missingno to win because why the hell not. Coming off of L-Block beating Auron and Vivi beating (?) Mario, how could it lose? transience's prediction: Missingno with 42% Squall with 39% Amaterasu with 19% KP's Analysis Who cares about this junk, ARE YOU SEEING WHAT VIVI IS DOING? Okay so this match is actually really important. I think Squall takes it until further notice, jokes are mostly non-transitive but Missingno still almost lost to Tidus. Even factoring in the inevitable between-rounds boost, Squall *probably* still has this. Squall - 37% Missingno - 36% Ammy - 27% Guest’s Analysis - The Real Truth Round 1 Squall received 15,031 / 22,827 total vs. Rayman, Commander Video Amaterasu received 17,090 / 25,586 total vs. Vyse, Adol Christin Missingno received 11,567 / 28,503 total vs. Tidus, Banjo Most impressive? I honestly don't know. Squall received practically all of the votes. Does Rayman beat Vyse? It's hard to base anything off of fodder. Pic factor? Missingno > Squall > Amaterasu Pokemon have been looking pretty great this contest. Vote totals have been really bad. This match is a night match and most of them are hovering about 25,000 votes. Cloud/Frog/Lugia hit 27,259 votes. I'll peg vote totals to be likely somewhere around there since this match is somewhat similar. This match is actually pretty tough. Tidus barely lost to Missingno last round and Squall is much stronger. How strong is Amaterasu? Missingno won his match with 11,567 votes out of 28,503. If my guess is right and the match gets about 27,000 votes, Missingno really doesn't need much to win. Amaterasu would destroy Banjo and would probably beat Frog these days. I actually went back and realized I had typed out the wrong amount of votes for Ammy. So this actually makes this match much easier sadly. Squall and Ammy have more overlap. L-Block just finished barely beating Auron. This should be a similar win for Missingno. Squall - 40%, Missingno - 35%, Ammy - 25% **** it I'm not going against my favorite character. In Squall we trust. If Squall wins here and it's Mario/Red/Squall, that could be interesting if for some reason Mario doesn't smash Red. wonder how low the percentages will be since Mario will not be in the
next rounds.Everyone had Mario going to the final round and Vivi's
