Blue vs Fox 1v1 is probably "close enough that the board's love of
Pokemon puts Blue over" range I think. Wolf probably has like 90% Fox
votes 10% Gary Oak votes or something if I were to guess which would

Division 7: Round 1 - Match 55 – (1) Samus Aran vs. (18) Isaac Clarke vs. (21) Sandbag Moltar’s Analysis Samus One day I'll be able to take that Samus > Seph upset. One day... Isaac being 18 seed is suffering Sandbag Shaped like a bag to beat Magus Finally, out of that brutal Division 6. Time to compensate and call some matches right. Samus will get her 60%+ here because she's Noble Nine and super strong. Sandbag gets enough joke support to take second. GameFAQs doesn't care about Dead Space or Isaac and he gets last. Moltar’s Prediction: Samus: 65% - Isaac: 11% - Sandbag: 24% Lopen’s Analysis I love all three of these characters~ Samus is a positive symbol to women everywhere and a true icon! Sandbag is a truly determined little guy and I love how gracefully he takes beatings and always has a smile on his face... well he's not actually smiling but you can see it in his eyes! Isaac Clarke is from a game called Dead Space but he never gives up on LIVING! Kyaaa! <3 let's all do our best and give 101% <3 What a great match! Well, I guess it could be a potentially interesting battle for second simply because Samus could SFF Sandbag here. But nobody uses Samus for Home Run Contest in Melee, so I don’t expect her to crush Sandbag here either. I mean, I feel like if you’re one of those guys who’s willing to vote for Sandbag, you’re probably going to vote for him regardless of who’s here. Actually, now that I think about it, I’m leaning toward voting for Sandbag because I don’t really care for Samus. Plus, he could be the thing people vote for who want to treat Samus like a punching bag for Other M (see what I did there). Guys named Isaac have been good at finishing second so far, but I think the Dead Space guy is probably going to be the weakest one. Leonhart’s Vote: Sandbag Leonhart’s Prediction: Samus Aran – 63.00% Sandbag – 21.00% Isaac Clarke – 16.00% Kleenex’s Analysis Time for Isaac #3 to try and win a match and fail. A SFF'D SANDBAG YEP, THIS IS REALLY HAPPENING TRANSIENCE'S PREDICTION: SAMUS WITH 68%, SANDBAG WITH 17%, DEAD SPACE MCBRO WITH 15% KP's Analysis Sandbag beats Magus once upon a time, Isaac Clarke is probably the weakest Isaac in this contest. Samus steamrolls. Maybe Clarke slips into second if Sandbag gets Nintendo SFFd or whatever but does anyone really care? Wake me when it's over. Samus - 66% Sandbag - 19% Clarke - 15% Guest’s Analysis - LinkMarioSamus I had to take the match featuring my favorite character! Anyway, thoughts on this match: -This is Samus's first match after Metroid: Other M, which SOMEHOW managed to anger the series' fanbase for reasons I honestly can't understand, and understand even less after starting to replay the game myself. -Sandbag stands out here against two power-armored characters, but on the same token I can see Samus SFFing it since...well do Smash fans actually care about Sandbag? Sandbag still probably beats Isaac Clarke. -If Samus can SFF them both, she can reach a hilarious blowout percentage, but with obvious winner anti-votes (can't see Other M anti-votes!) she probably won't. That would be something. Though in all honesty, even I don't really care much for Samus's portrayal there, in the story. Division 7: Round 1 - Match 56 – (6) Neku Sakuraba vs. (13) Vaas Montenegro vs. (22) Catherine Moltar’s Analysis Neku yo anime Vaas boo not anime Catherine yo anime So we've got obsucre jrpg character that couldn't beat Laharl, new character from game that this site doesn't care for, and atlus game character that got nearly tripled by Sonic, and we have to choose one of these characters to win. Yikes Vaas I think is the easy third place here. New characters have been bombing and Far Cry isn't really a game that is strong on GameFAQs. Neku vs Catherine is tough, but based on how this contest has played out so far, it looks like Neku might be the favorite with known RPG main characters doing well (hey Lloyd got second that counts for something right). Plus, he was in a KH game recently... ..and he's the top seed... ...this is pretty much a crapshoot I honestly don't even Moltar’s Prediction: Neku: 40% - Vaas: 25% - Catherine: 35% Lopen’s Analysis Yo man I'm not gonna take too long with this cause it's three fodders and we've got even less info than our usual three fodders. I went Neku. I don't know if the pic hurts him or not. I mean KH3 hype says maybe it'll help but at the same time he's lost the cool TWEWY art style. Regardless I just think TWEWY seems more a GameFAQs type game than Catherine so yeah I think Neku wins that. There's also the other guy who I think came from NBA Street Hoopz 2013 but I'm told came from Far Cry 3... you know... the sequel to... Far Cry... 2... that happened? Are you sure he's not from Hoopz 2013? I swear the only reason this guy is listed as from Far Cry 3 is to trick people into thinking he's from Fallout 3. You gotta get up pretty early in the morning to trick me like that, bud. Lopen's prediction: Neku - 42.95% Catherine - 38.70% Hoopz - 18.35% Leonhart’s Analysis I’ve got Catherine in my bracket, but after seeing the match pic, I’m not sure I’m feelin’ it now. I thought having a really good pic could make the difference in her winning this weak trio, but Neku’s easily got the best pic here. Plus, he was in Kingdom Hearts 3D, which should have helped his overall exposure. I don’t think Vaas or Far Cry are up this site’s alley, and he looks really dumb in the pic. Plus, now he’s the top seed, which means he probably has brackets in his favor. This seems to be the trend with these niche RPG dude. Vyse beats Laharl as the higher seed. Laharl beats Neku as the higher seed. Now Neku is the higher seed, and it could be his time in the spotlight. Kleenex’s Analysis Yeesh. This is Tharja/Juliet/Tina part 2. All three of these characters suck. Real bad. The only truly tested character of the bunch is Neku and he lost to Laharl. Vaas is from a game that came out last year, and it's not even close the kind of game GameFAQs enjoys, so I doubt he's worth much of anything. Catherine is from a game that came out within the last two years, but it is from the kind of game that this likes. Sort of. In situations like this, I'm inclined to side with the known quantity, and we know that Neku is only slightly weaker than Laharl. And I'd probably take Laharl to beat these other two, so I'll stick with Neku. Neku Sakuraba. Winning a match. Yeah. Kleenex's Prediction Neku with 39.00% Vaas with 25.00% Catherine with 36.00% Transience’s Analysis Since every other bro is bombing, I think we can write off Vaas. Even if he should win. That leaves Neku, who is pretty weak but not miserably weak, and Catherine, who is untested. Neku's game is a little more popular while Catherine is probably more popular as a character, plus more attractive. The picsmiths really screwed this one up though - Catherine's boxart pose is one of the most recognizable this generation but instead they used some stupid looking side pose. Actually, now that I think about it, I bet this is Allen's doing since he didn't want such a seductive pose on this family website. Which is stupid, but whatever. I'll take Catherine here - a much more attractive pick, and not just because of her looks. People played Catherine to see what was up with Catherine. Nobody played TWEWY for Neku. I'm having a bad feeling about this pick lately (give me the proven RPG character over competitive block climbing), but I'll stick with it. transience's predix: Catherine with 43%, Neku with 38%, Vaas with 19% KP's Analysis I considered Vaas pre-contest, and then every Generic McDude outside of Drake fell flat on their face. That leaves Neku and Catherine, and I don't really know who wins that. Catherine I think is more well-known but not as well-liked. Neku has a more hardcore fanbase. I think the main issue here is Catherine's pic. Sorry, Zen, but it doesn't really inspire confidence. Where are the jugs?!? I was kinda counting on Catherine having a big pic advantage going into this, but she looks iffy and Neku looks pretty good. Additionally, I have a feeling Neku is going to be a bit better in this contest. This is the highest seed he's ever gotten, people are looking back fodnly on TWEWY, and he just had an appearance in Kingdom Hearts 3D. Things are looking up for him...relatively speaking. It's ok guys I'm still doing the guest analysis, I've just been mulling over what percentages to pick: Guest's analysis - nameplz I think we can all agree on one thing here - Vaas gets last. He’s one of the many new western characters in this contest, who have been sucking the entire time, and Far Cry itself isn’t that highly regarded here, at least from what I’ve seen. I’m not sure what other people think, but I picked Catherine in my bracket, and after some thinking I’ll stick with it. She’ll be the only woman in the match, not to mention one that is drawn in the anime-style and has TJF (judging by the PS3 cover it must be a pretty big selling point); therefore she appeals to the common GameFAQs visitor. Plus, unlike other Atlas characters she’s an important part of her game. Sure, Neku has one appearance in a Kingdom Hearts game, but said game is on a handheld, and the guy lost to Laharl, of all things. Catherine’s charm alone could probably get her to do better than what Neku did on Laharl.
