Okay so I picked Otacon for this and despite Frog doing somewhat okay and Crono looking alright I just think that Magus can't get the job done for one simple reason: Jade mother ****ing Curtiss. Oh yes, that's right. You all thought I was crazy in the stats topic. You all thought...I was special. In the bad way, you see. But what you don't see coming is that sweet, sweet, jrpg badass sff coming down to lay the smack down on Magus and for Otacon to ride that amazing MGS hype to a narrow victory that is only possible against the likes of Magus. Almost forgot about this! REAL Guest Write-Up (PaulG235) Magus has seriously become one of those characters you cannot trust in matches at any cost. Ever since losing to Knuckles, he has gotten only weaker and weaker and weaker each passing contest. Putting abysmal numbers in 2007 against Wright, Bomberman and Crash, losing to a bag of sand in 2008, then letting Alucard murder him in 2010. Every year people put money on this horse, every year it falls over. It's amazing to think how after all of his botches, people STILL choose him as the favourite in a debateable match. Otacon is (hopefully) gonna put the final nail in Magus' coffin and finally convince people that Magus will never win another match again unless it's against someone like Guybrush or Edgeworth. That said, I still expect this to be a close match, and given how the Tales Of characters are benefitting from the low votals, Jade should be able to pass 15%. The Actual Real Guest Write-Up I have Otacon in my bracket because there's no way I'll ever trust Magus on anything, but thinking about it a little more carefully, there is a reason Otacon never made the bracket until it was made stupidly huge. He gets a lot of screentime and still poor guy can't get a break. Also, his bad luck in love will obviously translate to bad luck in contests too. I have a feeling this match won't even be close, in fact! Boo-hoo. and yeah sandbag would get like 90% on all these guys deal with it non-believers Oh yeah Jade Curtiss is here as well but she might as well not be. too bad jade doesn't have boobs or else he might actually do a little better. I mean, why else do you think Sheena is the third most popular Symphonia character and not Raine? Raine is such a better character.
