Division 6: Round 1 - Match 46 – (1) Crono vs. (18) Sarah Kerrigan vs. (27) Missile Moltar’s Analysis Crono This guy is still in the Noble Nine? Kerrigan Was once in a debated match with Vincent Missile DOG is no HORSE that's for sure Ghost Trick is probably around 999-level in strength, so Missile will probably get a loyal 10% here. Kerrigan is fodder and no stranger to looking weak in multi-way polls with Noble Nine members. Crono is going to win this easily. Enjoy it while you can, CT fans, because it might get real ugly for you next round. Moltar’s Prediction: Crono: 67% - Kerrigan: 23% - Missile: 10% Lopen’s Analysis I don't know if the pic hurts or helps Kerrigan here. I wanna say it helps because she at least looks better and Starcraft fans know who she is regardless. Meaning you may as well appeal to the broader vote base. You know, this makes me wonder... let's replace some unknown character with pics of a hot chick and see if it has a chance. In fact we should've just made that Missile's pic, for science. Oh well, next time... Anyway, you've got this dog here. I don't know who let the dog in. I want to say it might get some joke votes but it doesn't look quite stupid enough for that. It might get the ADORBS vote but I think the anime vote and the boobs vote beats that. Also Kerrigan actually has fans, no matter how trace. She should have a safe #2 here. The order is pretty simple though. As bad as Kerrigan’s contest history is, she wouldn’t have finished dead last in that 27 seeds poll like Missile did. Of course, Missile will do better with a match pic because he’s a cute dog and stuff. Not sure what Crono needs here to look good going into next round, but don’t expect him to replicate that near quadrupling Vincent managed on Kerrigan once upon a time, due to CT being a little weaker and StarCraft II probably helping out a little bit. Still, this is a pretty favorable matchup for Crono, so if he doesn’t do well here, he could be in bad shape, whether Magus is there or not. Leonhart’s Vote: Crono Leonhart’s Prediction: Crono – 62.00% Sarah Kerrigan – 23.00% Missile – 15.00% Kleenex’s Analysis Another contest, another year of being disappointed by Crono. Except for 2008, but that's besides the point. At the very least he shouldn't lose in round 1 this time. Kerrigan and Missile are both pretty weak and I don't really think the release of StarCraft II or Heart of the Swarm are really going to help. Missile might get IT'S A DOG votes or something, but probably. Crono should look pretty good here, the match is set up for him to do well and Frog impressed. If he flops here, it'll be a sad Round 2 for me. It still might be if he does well! Transience’s Analysis CRONO SMASH LUMINAIRE TO PIKACHU'S FAT UGLY YELLOW STUPID FACE THIS ISN'T ROUND 2 YET? I DON'T CARE TRANSIENCE'S PREDICTION: CRONO WITH 100% KP's Analysis We're post Starcraft 2, and there's still no one who cares about Kerrigan. Missile is adorable. Crono - 64% Kerrigan - 24% Missile - 12% Guest’s Analysis - Sir Chris So for those who read these but are unaware I've always had a fondness for Crono, one that actually extends past my enjoyment of his game. I really love to write for the character of Crono as I think he makes for some pretty interesting battles. Anyway I think the most interesting thing about this match is it sets the whole division up nicely. If Crono does horrible here then the jackals come out with their Pikachu banners, proudly waving the fall of Chrono Trigger and truly screwing this division up badly. Many think Magus advancing screws Crono, but if Crono does something insane, like say the high 60s, perhaps things get interesting even if Magus is in the match. Personally I could see Crono getting any % between 58 and 70 and really not be all that surprised. Crono is a character that many have speculated has fallen over the years but between four ways and Missingno doing whatever it was that it did in 2010 it has been hard to really grasp Crono's true worth. This year marks a chance for Crono to restore a bit of his mojo. Has to start somewhere though. Kerrigan's percentage could be interesting since she has Starcraft 2 now, unsure what that is going to get her. As for Missile, well... he is awesome according to my sources, but I don't think that's going to matter much here. I think mid-60s is the minimum for a good performance. Really, it's more about what Kerrigan does. |

I see a cute picture of a dog, I immediately click on Missile (and I have no idea who he is) and only then at the last second did I realize Crono was also in this battle, at which point I quickly click on him and make my vote.
